Basalt Fibre (Continuous Basalt Fibre, referred to as CBF) uses natural volcanic extrusive rock as the sole raw material. After being crushed, it is added to a melting furnace, melted at 1450-1500℃, and then made into continuous fibres through a platinum-rhodium alloy drawing bushing. Basalt Fibre is a non-metallic inorganic fibre, a green, environmentally friendly and pollution-free new material in the 21st century, and one of China's four major high-performance fibres. Basalt Fibre has excellent properties in terms of strength, high and low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, heat insulation, sound insulation, flame retardancy, as well as chemical and electrical insulation. It can be widely used in fields such as construction materials, petrochemical industry, equipment manufacturing, rail transit, national defense and military industry.
