The assembled box-section steel beam backing and capping machine is mainly used for automatic submerged arc welding of formed box-section beams. After replacing the additionally purchased arc guide frame, it can also be used for fillet welding of H-section steel. The welding arm equipped with a submerged arc welding head can move horizontally and vertically on the cantilever frame, so that the welding nozzle on the machine head is aligned with the weld seam. The welding arm is provided with a mechanical arc guiding device, and then the gantry moves linearly on the rail to perform automatic welding. This machine is equipped with an automatic flux laying, recovery and processing device.
All arc guiding movements on the gantry of this machine are automatically realized by springs. The bilateral synchronous drive for gantry walking is controlled by AC frequency conversion speed regulation. The welding arm is moved up, down, left and right by mechanical drive to adapt to the welding of section steels of different specifications.
